Partnership (referred to as ‘membership‘ in many other churches) is important at Cool River.  Why ‘partnership’ instead of ‘membership’? Because we see being part of a church as joining a mission, not a country club.

Partnership is the linking of arms of the many toward accomplishing one common purpose. For the Cool River community of faith, the purpose is simple–Love God and Love People.  We galvanize around our relationship with Triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), our commitment to each other as family and our mission to love and serve people outside of the Kingdom of God.

PRACTICALLY, PARTNERSHIP LOOKS LIKE THIS:

Belong – Be here.  Come around.  Be a part.  Participate.  Immerse yourself in every aspect of the church family.

Grow — Practice and Grow in these core practices:
* Communion (ONENESS with God)

* Community (TOGETHERNESS with fellow disciples)
__  Show up regularly
__ Participate robustly
__ Be Available and Vulnerable
* Mission (OTHERNESS with people outside of the Kingdom of God)

__ Serve them
__ Share your life and faith

Give
* Give here.  Support the church financially.
* Give there.  Get your finances in order to have room for giving opportunities outside of the church.

Serve
* Serve Here.  Find one area to serve Cool River. (House Church, Music, Children, Set up / Break Down, Town Events)
* Serve there.  Intentionally open up room in your schedule for service opportunities outside of the church.
