There are three basic practices we desire for the people of Cool River to live out. We believe that making these a natural part of your life will help you grow and mature into a Kingdom Disciple.
Communion (Oneness with God)
Pursuing an intimate and interactive relationship with Jesus. There are many ways you can cultivate your relationship with God that include but are not limited to: Bible intake, prayer, silence and solitude, Journaling, sabbath, and worship. Making sure your connection with God is solid is the foundation toward abundant life with Him.Community (Togetherness)
Pursuing deep, loving relationships with each other that go beyond the surface. Connecting with people of God is crucial to your faith-walk. Isolation from the body was not in God’s plan for us. As you move into relationship you could engage in group life, meeting needs, praying for each other, playing together, eating together. The key is time together that revolves around sharpening and encouraging each other in the faith.Mission (Otherness)
Sharing our life and our faith as we love and serve people beyond our walls. Jesus spent lots of time with people in need of the Kingdom of God. He shared himself fully with them. He served them, loved them, helped them and offered the Kingdom to them. In the same way, we love and serve and give and share life with the people God has placed around us.
